If you are new in Kalundborg municipality it can be a challenge to meet new people and make new friends. Despair not! There are many locals who love to meet new people and other newcomers who a looking to meet up just like you.

You can always start at Cafe Hygge - newcomer café every monday from 4 PM to 6 PM at the community house SYMB at Banegårdspladsen 2.

We also have Kalundborg Connect - a network of (mostly) younger newcomers who arrange social and cultural activities in the area. Follow this link to read more.

If you have arrived with your family and have sparetime during normal working hours you should join the morning café for spouses, every wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 at SYMB.

There are also many online communities where you can meet others and learn about local activities. The facebook group Internationals in Kalundborg is one such group for english speaking newcomers;-)

Social activities at SYMB

SYMB is a modern community house in Kalundborg where you can find recurring social activities with different themes as weel as starting your own activities. As a newcomer to Kalundborg Municipality, it is the place to start if you want to meet new people and be part of social activities. It is located at the main train station in Kalundborg, Banegårdspladsen 2.
